Lai Hong Lounge
Chinatown's newest dim sum restaurant, which occupies the former Lichee Garden spot, is certainly the neighborhood's brightest and most attractive. Consequently, even on weekdays, it is overflowing with diners. The steamed har gow and siu mai are on par with the neighborhood's baseline quality, the tofu-skin rolls are wrapped in the finest of skins, and judging by smell, the durian buns are certainly popular. The standout: Lai Hong Lounge's remarkable rice-noodle rolls with fish and yellow chives. See our previous coverage.
