The best of San Francisco's growing number of restaurants specializing in the cuisine of the region formerly known as Manchuria, Dong Bei Mama is where you go for hot pots of lamb with tart "preserved napa" cabbage, an astonishing array of Chinese charcuterie (the five-spice head cheese is wonderful), giant pan-fried pork buns and braised pork belly with corn cakes.
