Free Korean Fried Chicken In NYC

A Brooklyn spot is giving you a taste of the tradition of chimaek

Sure, Monday has always been the maligned black sheep when it comes to picking a  favorite day of the week, but the beginning of your workweek just got a new redeeming quality.

Insa, Brooklyn's beloved Korean barbecue spot (and karaoke den, where you can do your best Celine Dion tribute), is introducing chimaek, the tradition that brings together the cuisine's extra-crunchy fried chicken with ice-cold beer. Stop by on Mondays, when an entire pitcher and half a platter runs just $30.

And to kick things off, tonight the resto's offering its Korean-style chicken and beer for free as you sample sauces ranging from soy garlic to a red curry coconut version.
