How Much Money In-N-Out Managers Make

That's more than the average salaries of both lawyers and software engineers

As it turns out, the true path to financial success isn't lined in master's theses or doctorate degrees, but instead Double-Doubles.

According to a report by the California Sun, the fast-food chain's managers now make on average more than $160,000 a year, putting them well ahead of other professions including lawyers and software engineers. That's also triple the industry average.

"On wages and benefits, they really are the best large chain," Saru Jayaraman, the lead researcher for UC Berkeley's Food Labor Research Center, notes. It doesn't hurt that even workers earn an hourly wage of at least $13 to start, not to mention get benefits including 401(k) plans, paid vacation and health plans.
