Glassdoor also ranks the fast-food company above Apple, Microsoft and Starbucks
In-N-Out aficionados, take note: Glassdoor reports in its yearly Best Places to Work list that the famed burger chain ranks in fourth place. It not only beats Google, which comes in fifth, but is also the top restaurant industry company on the list. Facebook takes the top spot, followed by Bain & Company, Boston Consulting Group and In-N-Out. The only other fast-food chain is Chick-fil-A at number 72.
With a 4.6 rating from 975 reviews, the company rose from its number seven spot on last year's list. With employees reporting an extremely flexible schedule, paid vacation days and a free meal every shift, it's understandable how In-N-Out ranks so high.
After announcing earlier this week that the chain would be opening as many as 50 new locations in Colorado, expect a wealth of job opportunities in the upcoming year.
