Uber Is Giving Away Free Pizza In New York City
Get free pizza from Uber to celebrate its fifth year in NYC
Five is the new magic number, as far as Uber is concerned. This week, it's celebrating five years in New York with five days of $5 carpool rides for all five boroughs.
Not that we need more of a reason to eat pizza, but Uber is even throwing free slices into the deal. All you have to do is flash your Uber app at one of the participating locations to get a free slice. Each day will be a different borough's chance to shine, so plan your lunch accordingly.
UberPOOL is also offering $5 flat-rate trips when you travel within the same borough, so embrace the carpooling service and say "slice to meet you" to your travel buddy. Who knows—maybe you'll hit if off and end up grabbing thick, cheesy slices from Artichoke Pizza together, or old-school-style pizza from Di Fara in Brooklyn.
