Ingredients
  • For the grenadine
  • 1 cup pomegranate juice
  • ⅓ cup simple syrup
  • For the cocktail
  • 1 ounces Laird's Applejack
  • ½ ounce fresh lemon juice
  • ½ ounce fresh grenadine
  • Ice
Directions
  1. To make the grenadine: Stir together the pomegranate juice and simple syrup. The mixture can be stored in the refrigerator for two weeks.
  2. To make the cocktail: Combine the applejack, lemon juice and grenadine with ice in a martini shaker and shake vigorously. Strain into a martini glass and serve immediately.
