Divine Delusion

Gentian, that bitter root, has taken the bartender's shelf by storm, appearing in new liqueurs and tonics with astonishing frequency. But the flavor can be a harsh one when not incorporated properly. For gentian newbies, take this drink from Kask, which uses the root-flavored liqueur Aveze, as your measuring stick. Like the rest of Tommy Klus's creations, it excels in balance and simplicity.
