CELSIUS Hosted Its First Ever Celebrity Pickleball Tournament

This past weekend, on August 25, the world of competitive pickleball raised some serious dough for charity with a little help from top energy drink brand, CELSIUS. In a star-studded event hosted by CELSIUS at the Los Angeles home of YouTube celebrity and pickleball fan, David Dobrik, the Pickleball Classic featured a tournament of champions fueled with plenty of refreshing CELSIUS drinks on hand. Beyond bragging rights, the players were battling it out for the grand prize — a $50,000 check from CELSIUS donated to the winner's charity of choice.   

Star spectators and CELSIUS brand ambassadors present included models Olivia Culpo and Brooks Nader, "Bachelorette" alum Tyler Cameron, YouTuber Tessa Brooks, and actors Taylor Lautner and Madison Pettis. Also in attendance was the DJ duo Two Friends, who supplied plenty of high-energy beats to match the vibe of the electric tournament. As for sponsor partners, CELSIUS received a helping hand from Recess paddles, Vacation Sunscreen, Water Boy Hydration, Happy Hour seltzers, Happy Ice LA, and more. 

In an epic pickleball match against Tyler Cameron and Matt James, David Dobrik and Taylor Lautner won the tournament. Their charity of choice was Lemons Foundation, a nonprofit that is passionate about helping individuals understand, learn, and navigate their mental health. Following the announcement of the winning team, CELSIUS announced donations would be made to all participating teams' charities.

While the pickleball players landed hits and the celebrity partners mingled, all attendees enjoyed a boost of energy from a CElSIUS drink or one of its new mocktails, Tropical Vibe CELSI-Rita and Lemon Lime Shirley Temple.

Closing out the line-up were other trusty flavors like Sparkling Oasis Vibe, a combination of prickly pear, watermelon, kiwi, and bubblegum, Sparkling Fantasy Vibe, a lush blend of mandarin orange and marshmallow, Sparkling Lemon Lime, a refreshingly zesty citrus flavor, and Sparkling Green Apple Cherry, a fruity taste that taps into the nostalgic flavor of candy apple.   

Those suffering from a bit of FOMO can rejoice as CELSIUS also announced an upcoming traveling Fit Stops Tour, which will be coming to college towns nationwide later this fall with Tyler Cameron at the helm as host.
