Chrissy Teigen Opens Cravings Bakery Pop-Up In LA

Chrissy Teigen is bringing her sweet brand Cravings to life at a true brick-and-mortar location for a limited time. In a partnership with Shopify, the Cravings bakery & cafe pop-up is located at the 4,000-square-foot Shopify LA at The Row in downtown Los Angeles, and it will be open from May 12 through May 21 (though closed for operations on May 15, 16, and 17). Complete with a larger-than-life gold butter statue, lovely-in-lavender walls, and plenty of fresh flowers, this is the kind of place primed for Instagram photo ops.

The pop-up follows the successful launch of the company's popular baking mixes for Chrissy's Ultimate Banana Bread, Butter Mochi Pancake and Waffles, and Salted White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies. All three of these baked goods will be on offer as well as her brand new Perfect Chocolate Chunk Cookies. On Sundays, you can also snag caffeinated drinks provided by The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf to accompany your baked good of choice.

As for the playful design and explosion of lush florals, the shop was decorated with Teigen's favorite things in mind. She says, "As a brand, we've always wanted to have a lot of fun with everything we do and this is no different. This bakery has a butter sculpture, a syrup fountain, and an abundance of freshly-baked goods just begging to be eaten! What's better than that?"

An LA love letter to Teigen's baked goods

If you're looking to visit this special limited-time bakeshop, you'll need to purchase $5 admission tickets on-site or online at Chrissy Loves Butter. While this money cannot be applied to the purchase of baked goods, it can be used to buy any one of the products offered in the retail half of the pop-up, including Teigen's boxed mixes. As for the baked goods, prices run as follows: a slice of Banana Bread or a Mochi Pancake are priced at $3 each, and both cookies are offered for $2 each.

Teigen's top choice for first-time customers? Go with Chrissy's Ultimate Banana Bread, the baked good that she claims is the reason her food brand really kicked off. Once you grab your slice, take time to enjoy the setup with a loved one as Teigen designed the bakery with socialization at its core. "I wanted to create an immersive space where people would indulge in delicious treats and hang with their friends, or moms, or anyone really," she says.

Those who are looking to get a taste of Teigen's signature baked goods but can't make the pop-up should hit up Bristol Farms, Teigen's favorite grocery store, or head to the Cravings online shop, as all of the products can be found there as well.
