Krispy Kreme Debuts Line Of Chips Ahoy! And Oreo Stuffed Donuts

Looking for dessert to go with your doughnut? Krispy Kreme has you covered ... in chocolate icing. The North Carolina-based doughnut manufacturer announced on April 17 that a collaboration with Chips Ahoy! and Oreo has resulted in a decadent new collection of doughnuts. A press release from Krispy Kreme teases, "Imagine your favorite doughnut with two Chips Ahoy! Cookies inside it. We made that a reality."

The doughnuts, available now at participating Krispy Kreme locations as well as in grocery stores, will only be around through May 7, 2023. The collection includes the Chips Ahoy! Candy Blasts Doughnut, which begins with an Original Glazed doughnut that's topped with cookie dough icing and sprinkled with cookie bits, chocolate candy gems, and semisweet chocolate chips. The lightest of all the new offerings nutritionally, one Candy Blasts Doughnut contains 320 calories and 16 grams of fat. Like the Twix-stuffed doughnuts Krispy Kreme offered last year, the other doughnuts in this cookie collaboration are even more indulgent.

An explosion of cookies and confection

The most hedonistic doughnut among the new Krispy Kreme collection is the Oreo and Chips Ahoy! Cookie Blast doughnut. It's filled with two chewy Chips Ahoy! cookies and Oreo Cookies and Kreme filling, dipped in cookie dough icing containing bits of Chips Ahoy! and Oreo cookies, then topped with a dollop of Oreo Cookies and Kreme, as well as with miniature-sized Oreo and Chips Ahoy! cookies. A single doughnut provides 560 calories and 29 grams of fat.

The other two new doughnuts that round out the new collaboration are the Chips Ahoy! Cookie Dough Kreme doughnut, with chocolate and cookie dough icings and a pair of mini Chips Ahoy! cookies on top, and the Oreo Cookies and Kreme Filled doughnut. The new doughnuts can be purchased individually at participating Krispy Kreme locations, and they're also available featured in a freshly-made six-pack that's delivered daily to select grocery stores. Pardon us while we go get a glass of milk to pair with our doughnut.
