Krispy Kreme's Day Of The Dozens Promo Is Back For The Holidays

There's no such thing as a bad day to buy Krispy Kreme doughnuts. For lovers of the brand's iconic offerings, that fact has been evident for 85 years, ever since Vernon Rudolph began selling the first Krispy Kreme doughnuts in Winston-Salem, North Carolina back in 1937. According to Krispy Kreme, the original recipe for the doughnuts was purchased from a chef in New Orleans, and it's safe to say the company's founder got a good deal on it.

As CBS observes, the original glazed doughnuts are still made the same way today. Krispy Kreme is still based in North Carolina, but those delicious doughnuts are now available in more than 30 countries around the globe, per a recent press release. Statista notes that there are over 370 locations in the U.S. alone. If you don't already know the location nearest you, now is a good time to find out.

Because while it's true there are no bad days for buying Krispy Kreme doughnuts, one day is certainly better than all others when it comes to the price for a dozen of their original glazed: the "Day of the Dozens." The good news, according to a recent company press release, is that day is coming soon.

The 'Day of the Dozens' means big value at Krispy Kreme

Krispy Kreme's "Day of the Dozens" promotion is valid only on December 12, the company recently announced. And the holiday deal is a delight for doughnut lovers and bargain hunters everywhere because a box of a dozen Krispy Kreme's original glazed doughnuts will be available for exactly $1 each. The only catch is that you have to buy the first dozen at the standard price to qualify for the offer, and customers are limited to two boxes. According to Fast Food Menu Prices, the standard price for a dozen glazed at most locations is $7.99; meaning, if you buy two boxes of a dozen on this, the "Day of the Dozens," you'll be getting 24 doughnuts for about .37 cents each.

Not only is it a great deal, but the original glazed doughnuts are also served up in a special holiday-inspired box that reads, "Fresh from Santa's Bake Shop." To find out if the location nearest you is participating in the promotion, go to the company website for additional details. Krispy Kreme is also encouraging its fans to share their experiences of the holiday deal by writing to @krispykreme on their many social media channels, notes the press release.
