Ask any restaurant lover which city they most want to visit, and they're likely to say Detroit. And at the heart of Motor City's culinary renaissance is Kate Williams, whose new restaurant, Lady of the House, is an ode to the women who raised her.

 

On Tuesday, April 24th, Chef Williams brought it all to NYC, with a menu reminiscent of her Irish roots with global inspiration woven in. The four course dinner included dishes like lamb tartare with juniper and tarragon, duck confit with mustard, a farm egg, and mint, and brown bread ice cream with soy caramel.
