On Tuesday, November 29th, the star of Iron Chef, Masaharu Morimoto, traded Kitchen Stadium for the Tasting Table Test Kitchen where he prepared an exclusive dinner to celebrate the launch of his new cookbook, Mastering the Art of Japanese Home Cooking. Guests enjoyed custom cocktails and zensai like Peking duck tacos and fried pork belly skewers before sitting down to a four-course dinner paired with wine and sake. After the meal, Tasting Table editor Jane Frye led a Q&A discussion with the famed Chef, and guests departed with a signed copy of the new cookbook.
