Video: How To Make A Mojito

This cool and minty rum cocktail is refreshingly easy to make

The weather's gotten warmer and suddenly we feel the need to shed the heavy sweaters from our shoulders and the stews from our dinner tables. We're also ready to lighten up our cocktails-and there may not be a more refreshing way to do that than with a cool and minty mojito.

Ours is sunny with citrus, fresh with herbal mint, light with bubbles and strong with rum, of course. Because the cocktail can sometimes be a touch too sweet, we've added a few dashes of bitters for balance.

In a highball glass, muddle 2 teaspoons of confectioners' sugar, 6 fresh mint leaves, a few dashes of bitters and 1 ounce of fresh lime juice. Add ice and pour in white rum. Stir to combine then top with club soda. Garnish with a slice of lime.
