How to Make a Michelada

Michelada

Recipe adapted from Charlie Schott, Parson's Chicken & Fish, Chicago

Yield: 1 cocktail

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Total Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients

Kosher salt

Freshly ground black pepper

Ice

¼ ounce Maggi Liquid Seasoning

¼ ounce Worcestershire sauce

¼ ounce hot sauce

¾ ounce fresh lime juice

One 12-ounce can or bottle Modelo Especial beer

Directions

1. To a small plate, add some salt and pepper. Dampen the rim of a 12-ounce glass with water, then twist the rim in the salt-and-pepper mixture.

2. To the glass, add some ice, then add the Maggi, Worcestershire, hot sauce and lime juice. Top with the Modelo Especial and serve the remainder of the beer alongside the Michelada.
