If You Missed Dolly Parton's Sold-Out Ice Cream, Now's Your Chance To Try It

Fans of either Dolly Parton or Jeni's ice cream (or both) probably remember the internet-breaking release the two unleashed on the world back in 2020. Not only did the pink pints of Strawberry Pretzel Pie ice cream sell out in just minutes, according to Food & Wine, eager customers also crashed the Jeni's website (via Food Network). Though some were lucky enough to get their hands on a scoop or even a pint of the very limited small batch ice cream that the pair created, those who still haven't been able to try it can pre-order up to two pints right now on Jeni's website.

If you don't remember the details of the flavor, it's a combination of tart cream cheese ice cream swirled with strawberry sauce and a salty pretzel streusel for the perfect balance of sweet, salty, and a little bit tangy. While a portion of the sales will continue to benefit Parton's Imagination Library, which gives free books to children under the age of five, there's even more good to come out of this rendition of the partnership for customers, too.

Dolly Parton fans will get more than ice cream

The renewed ice cream flavor is gracing Jeni's again to celebrate a couple of Dolly Parton's recent accomplishments and new releases. She just co-authored a book with James Patterson that will be made available soon; and for Parton fans who just can't wait for the book's accompanying album, "Run, Rose, Run," you can pre-order the album when you pre-order those pints of ice cream you longed for, but maybe weren't able to get your hands on the last time around. The new album even comes with an exclusive extra track when you buy it through Jeni's, so mega-fans definitely won't want to miss out this time around.

Thankfully, the pre-order system should ensure that everyone who wants to take advantage of the exclusive offer and try the returning hit flavor can. While there is a two-pint maximum for those who pre-order, it is also worth noting that you'll have to wait a few months to get it, as the ice cream will not ship until April. Jeni's also has a four-pint delivery minimum, so you'll have to select two other flavors to fill your box.
