Gone are the days when people made fun of bland British food. Today the London restaurant scene in on fire, giving—dare we say it—New York City a run for its money. Quality ingredients, innovative cooking and a choice of cuisines as diverse as the city's melting pot of inhabitants make it a must-visit for any food lover worth his/her salt. And though it is not hard to spend a month's rent in some of London's top eateries, the growing trend in casual dining spots and one-dish restaurants has made eating out an affordable luxury for all to enjoy.
