Sip Of Hope Coffee Shop, Chicago
Opening tomorrow in Chicago's Logan Square, Sip of Hope is the world's first coffee bar that will donate 100 percent of its proceeds to mental health awareness and suicide prevention. Hope for the Day, the charity behind the shop, notes that one in four people will go through a mental health crisis, and as such, is partnering with Dark Matter Coffee to recognize that sometimes it takes more than a cup of coffee to get through the day.

According to Eater Chicago, Sip of Hope is meant to be a safe space where visitors can get information and support on mental wellness: All of the shop's staff members are certified in Mental Health First Aid and can assist uninsured individuals with finding counselors and other vital resources.
Besides furthering mental health education, Sip of Hope will, of course, be supplying plenty of caffeinated beverages. Customers can get their fix via drinks like the Chocolate City, an on-tap cold brew, and an agave latte called Nectar of the Gods, all made from Dark Matter coffee beans.
Chicagoans can head to the opening tomorrow at 11 a.m. to donate, chat with the team and, of course, sip java. Non-Chicago natives can support the cause by purchasing Dark Matter's Sip of Hope blend, which features notes of vanilla bean and plum, online.
