Knock one back for Mother Earth
It's not that often you can kick back with a pack of beer and call it a productive task, but in the case of Golden Road Brewing's Heal the Bay IPA, you're pretty much doing a public service.
The L.A.-based brewery is rereleasing its citrusy, tropical-flavored brew in honor of Earth Day this weekend, and portions of the proceeds will go toward Heal the Bay, an organization that works to preserve and maintain Southern California's stunning coastline.
If you find yourself in Southern California, Golden Road will be pouring the beer at a pop-up art gallery at the in Venice in honor of the nonprofit. Better yet, it's making the IPA available year-round, so saving the Earth can become an activity that isn't limited to just one day in April.
