Tasting Table Lobster Rumble 2018 Tickets
The butter is melted, our bibs are tied and we're ready to raise shell—but it won't be a party without you.
We're bringing back the legendary Lobster Rumble to celebrate Tasting Table's 10th anniversary, and anticipation is running high. You'll spend the night tasting your way through 24 of the country's best lobster rolls, plus summery desserts, top-shelf drinks and bottomless revelry.
Plus, that much lobster begs a cold drink (or three) to wash it all down. Beer fans will have pours from New York's own Blue Point Brewing Company, and wine drinkers will have glasses of Wölffer Estate Vineyard wine—including plenty of summer-appropriate rosé. As for something a bit harder, there'll be cocktails featuring Nolet's Finest Gin. Counter it all (or just simply stay hydrated) with plenty of still and sparkling water from Voss Artesian Water from Norway.
Get your tickets ($185 each, plus tax) now for the event, which takes place on Thursday, June 7, at Brooklyn's BKX, from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. VIP status ($275, plus tax) includes early event entry at 6:30 p.m., access to a dedicated VIP lounge with an exclusive raw bar and our seriously heavy swag bag.
This year's 24 contenders hail from the rocky shores of Maine to California's coast to all the seafood shacks in between. New Yorkers will recognize hometown gems like Seamore's, Red Hook Lobster Pound, The Mermaid Inn and Luke's Lobster, but they'll face stiff competition from perennial crowd favorites like Bite into Maine and Chicago' Wixter Market.
You'll also have an important job to do: Everyone is welcome to cast a vote for the best roll, and at the end of the night, the one that claws its way to the top will earn bragging rights as Best of the Rumble for 2018.
In case dozens of lobster rolls aren't enough to fill you up, there'll be dessert from Petee's Pie Company, Ice & Vice and more, plus open bars (yes, plural) with beer, wine and seasonal cocktails.
Further, your lobster bliss will contribute to a good cause: A portion of the proceeds will benefit World Central Kitchen, an organization of chefs founded by José Andrés that works to create smart solutions to hunger and poverty.
