Dindr Dating App New In Austin
The only catfish you'll be getting is the daily special
Small talk is better when small plates are involved. And no one knows that like the founders of new app Dindr, where swiping right on a cute-faced hopeful could also help you match with a hot restaurant.
Dindr, which launches in Austin on January 26, suggests three restaurants you can check out, but your match expires if you don't actually make plans for that day. So take advantage of the app's algorithm that matches food preferences—meaning your penchant for tortilla chips might land you a salsa lover—and seize the opportunity.
What started as a restaurant discovery app morphed into its current iteration when cofounder Zachary Casler narrowed in on the drop-off between in-app chat and actually meeting up.
Dindr says it's here to "help bring back integrity in dating." Which, if that means eliminating empty promises of "meeting up for drinks," is something we'll swipe right on.
