Best Pie In Every State

While we may ring in joyous celebrations with a champagne toast and cake, we often welcome a holiday with pie. While some desserts are overly complicated, pies can be simple and still delicious; it all begins with filling in a basic crust. Still, Thanksgiving isn't quite Turkey Day without a heaping serving of pumpkin pie, and there's nothing quite like a Fourth of July cherry pie a la mode in the glow of fireworks. Not to mention, math teachers around the world love to celebrate annual Pi Day on March 14.

However, holidays aren't the only time people love to indulge in this delicious dessert because diners and bakeries across the country offer decadent and delicious pies year-round. Of course, like any other favorite food, there are regional favorites, but your taste buds will presumably agree that the following are some of the best in the country. So, save your fork because we've got the pie.
