How To Peel A Frozen Banana
First, let's get one thing straight: An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, even when it comes to bananas.
If you're freezing bananas, your first step, of course, is to peel them. We get it though—sometimes life gets in the way, and you can't be bothered to strip the skins off the banana bread-bound fruit before tossing them into the freezer. Luckily, there's still a way to get the peels off without tearing your fingernails to shreds.
① Use a sharp chef's knife to cut the banana in half, hamburger-style. Trim off any crooked ends and slice each piece in half lengthwise.
② Loosen the edge of the skin with the knife's tip. The peel should shed off easily.
③ Then simply cut the banana into slices, blend it for a smoothie or let it thaw for banana bread.

To make it even easier, thaw the banana for a few minutes before you attempt this hack. Just make sure to watch your fingers (and maybe remember to peel it first next time).
