The Average Time Spent Hungover In A Lifetime Is 2 Years

Here's hoping you've come up with a good coping strategy

A hangover now and then doesn't seem so bad. But add them all up, and you could spend two years of your life hungover, Munchies reports. A vitamin company conducted a survey of 2,000 people in the UK and found that the average person wakes up hungover once a month. Take that number, calculate it for a lifetime and you find that the average Brit will spend 724 days of their life feeling the pains of last night's drinks.

Participants were also asked about their hangover cures; the highest-ranking remedy was unsurprisingly water, followed by lounging around in bed, a shower, getting fresh air and popping painkillers. Thirty percent said salty foods like bacon are part of their hangover ritual.

Surely, we'll all be racking up a few extra hangover days this holiday season.
