$10 Off Uber Holiday Rides
As if we needed another reason to hit the eggnog a little harder this year
Great news for drunk uncles everywhere: Late last week, good old MillerCoors officially announced it's partnering with Uber to offer travelers $10 off their rides from now through 7 a.m. on New Year's Day.
According to the press release, Miller Lite is sponsoring the promotion in Columbus, Charlotte, Dallas, Louisville, Minneapolis, Pittsburgh and Philly, while Coors Light is repping New York, Miami, Atlanta, Denver and Houston. During the three-week time period, users in those markets will be given a special code when they log into the app, encouraging them to leave the wheels behind when getting friendly with the eggnog—as if we needed yet another incentive to hit the sauce a little harder this holiday season.
"We're excited to take advantage of Uber's technology to help more people access a safe ride home," the mega brewery's alcohol responsibility manager, Diane Wagner, says. "Our partnership with Uber is part of MillerCoors's overall commitment to help prevent drunk driving by bringing an alternative transportation option to as many consumers as possible."
Somebody better tell Phil from accounting to hold onto his toupee, because your office holiday party is about to get a whole lot more interesting.
