2015 Bichi PetMex Rosé from Tecate, Mexico ($25)

"Bichi is the start of a new wave of wines coming out of the Baja region of Mexico. Made by the Tellez brothers with Louis-Antoine Luyt consulting, these wines are fun and vibrant, and full of California wine history."

2015 Methode Sauvage Vista Verde Vineyard Chenin Blanc from San Benito County ($26)

"Made by Chad Hinds, Methode Sauvage's wines are some of the best in California. Focusing on Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc, his wines are lenses into the future of California wine. Chad is doing special bottling of his wines with zero added sulfites, hence the ØØ."

2015 Southold Farm + Cellar Carbonic Cabernet Franc from North Fork, Long Island ($22)

"Regan and Carey Meador are awesome. Unfortunately, Long Island doesn't agree. They were making amazing wines in North Fork but will soon be moving out west . . . to Texas. Can't wait to see where these wines go and am very proud to have them on this side of the Mississippi."

2015 Amplify Wines Camp 4 Vineyard Carignane from the Santa Ynez Valley ($23)

"Cameron Porter's wines are so damn delicious!! Such chuggable wine. Grab his wines by the case and never stop drinking it."

2014 Major Wines Pinot Noir from the Santa Rita Hills ($35)

"This is Andrew Major's inaugural vintage. He's been a hobbyist winemaker for many years, when a friend of his tasted a bottle he made and said, "Dude, you should sell this." So, now he does. Really fucking awesomely restrained and a delicate domestic Pinot Noir. To quote Andrew 'THIS IS MAJOR.'"

2016 Sans Vin de California Carbonic Zinfandel from Paso Robles (Coming out in December)

"A little self promotion. This is a wine I made with Fiction owner and winemaker Andrew Jones. I was trying to make a wine as approachable as possible and completely naturally. Look out for its release in December. Hope it doesn't suck."
