Video: How To Make Duck Fat Chex Mix

Chex Mix's crunchy texture, garlicky tang and bordering-on-too-salty savoriness is what keeps people coming back handful after handful. And when it's homemade-still warm and toasty from the oven-all bets are off.

But we suggest that you gild the lily. We take a cue from Jake Godby of Humphry Slocombe Ice Cream, and instead of using the plain melted butter the classic recipe calls for, we substitute flavorful duck fat. It takes the humble snack over the top in the very best way, and fresh thyme doesn't hurt either.

Watch the video to see how we class up Chex Mix and get the full recipe, so you can make your own batch.
