Balsamic Berry Cocktail, adapted from David Ruiz of That's My Jamm
  • 2 ounces gin
  • ½ ounce freshly squeezed lime juice, plus a pinch of lime zest
  • ½ ounce egg white
  • Several heavy dashes balsamic vinegar
  • 1 bar spoon mixed-berry jam (Bonne Maman brand preferred)
  • Ice
  1. Combine the gin, lime juice, egg white, balsamic vinegar and jam in a shaker and shake vigorously to emulsify the egg white.
  2. Add ice to the shaker and shake again until chilled. Strain into a cocktail glass and garnish with the lime zest.
