Ingredients
  • 1 blood orange, cut crosswise into ½-inch-wide slices
  • ¾ cup soy sauce
  • ¾ cup rice wine vinegar
  • 2½ tablespoons light brown sugar
Directions
  1. In a small saucepan over high heat, combine all ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from the heat and let cool in the pan for 15 minutes. Once cooled, remove and discard the blood orange slices. Use immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
