Ingredients
  • ¾ ounce lightly peated Scotch, such as 12-year-old Bunnahabhain
  • 1 ounce Matthiasson Vermouth
  • ¾ ounce cherry heering
  • ¾ ounce freshly squeezed blood orange juice
  • Ice
  • 4-inch strip of blood orange zest
Directions
  1. Fill a shaker with Scotch, vermouth, cherry heering and orange juice. Add ice, shake, strain into a rocks glass and add fresh ice. Squeeze the orange peel over surface of the drink to express its oils, then drop the peel into the drink and serve.
