Cocktail Recipe: Cold Brew White Russian

A Japanese take on the smooth and creamy cocktail

Use good ingredients to make this breakfast cocktail—not yesterday's espresso. A cooler update of the espresso martini, the simple drink is easy to put together a couple hours in advance, making it the perfect cocktail for entertaining.

Nigori sake is unfiltered and the sweetest of all sakes. It lends a reminiscent creaminess of, dare we say, KahlĂșa, but with a sophisticated flavor that isn't cloying.

Ingredients
  • 4 ounces cold brew concentrate, undiluted
  • 16 ounces nigori sake
  • 4 teaspoons organic cane sugar
  • Large ice cubes, for serving
Directions
  1. In a small pitcher, stir together the cold brew, sake and sugar. Pour into 4 ice-filled tumbler glasses and serve.
