Eva Longoria's Favorite Taco Spot Is An East LA Original - Exclusive

Taco Tuesdays are a staple in our households. Not only are tacos so simple and versatile, but they are extremely delicious. If you don't eat beef, make cauliflower tacos. If you love pork but hate vegetables, make them solely meat tacos (with a chipotle salsa, of course). Tacos are one of those meals that almost everyone can agree on, including your most beloved celebrities. Eva Longoria, actress and producer, for one, adores tacos. During an exclusive interview with Tasting Table, Eva Longoria did a deep dive into her Latina heritage as she dropped her new podcast, "Hungry for History."

The "Desperate Housewives" star partnered up with culinary historian Maite Gomez-Rejón to talk about Mexican food and history with iHeartMedia's My Cultura Podcast Network. Longoria revealed how much she loves tamales around the holidays and her preference for flour tortillas instead of corn tortillas. The television personality even enjoys a bean taco in the morning. As taco enthusiasts, Tasting Table had to know what her favorite taco eatery is in Los Angeles.

Longoria can't get enough of King Taco in East LA

Los Angeles is known for its diverse food scene, including its cheeseburgers, pastrami sandwiches, and most importantly, tacos. As a resident of California, Eva Longoria named the one restaurant she can't get enough of when it comes to a good taco. She told Tasting Table to visit "King Taco out in East LA." She added, "King Taco, that's the spot to go." What does she order from there, you ask? Well, the actress continued, "Everything. Tacos el pastor, tacos de rib eye, which is rib eye tacos, carnitas, and always with lots of salsa, red salsa, green salsa, avocado, guacamole salsa."

The movie star recommended that you get "all the toppings" when you order, which means we will be asking for a hold on the steak and double the guacamole. According to King Taco's website, its popularity is justified, as it has expanded to 22 locations and is classified as a Mexican fast-food favorite. From nachos to burritos to quesadillas, the California restaurant has every type of Mexican food you can dream of. Tacos seem to be infiltrating the industry one tortilla at a time, and let's just say we are not mad about it.
