Barilla Is Celebrating National Pasta Month With A Special Kit

When the month of October rolls around, most people in the Northern hemisphere probably start to think about the fall season — colder temperatures, shorter days, the leaves changing colors, and pumpkins — but maybe they should be thinking about spaghetti.  Surprisingly enough, October is also National Pasta Month (via National Today). According to a 2021 survey conducted by Statista, 62% of Americans eat pasta frequently. That's millions of people that should be excited to celebrate one of their favorite dishes.

Pasta company Barilla is also excited about National Pasta Month and is rolling out a new product for the occasion. The company regularly offers tons of pasta shapes and sizes, including long and short noodles, shells, lasagne sheets, filled varieties, and pasta for soups. In addition to its regular favorites, Barilla is kicking off the National Pasta Month festivities by releasing an exclusive pasta kit.

Barilla is releasing a Pasta Season Pack with pasta, recipes, and kitchen utensils

According to PR Newswire, Barilla will be releasing a "Pasta Season Pack" in honor of National Pasta Month. Each kit will include four boxes (one for each week of October), with each box containing two boxes of different pasta types. In addition to eight boxes of pasta, the kits will also come with "pasta-themed accessories and cooking utensils" and a booklet that includes pasta recipes and ideas for how to use leftovers. The kits are available on a "first-come, first-serve basis while supplies last" for pasta fanatics in the United States starting September 26th, 2022 at noon Eastern time at www.BarillaPastaSeason.com.

In a statement on PR Newswire, one of Barilla's Vice Presidents of Marketing Melissa Tendick offered some insight into the new limited-time pasta kits, saying, "We can't wait to see the recipes that our fellow pasta lovers will create, incorporating our beloved pasta. With the Barilla Pasta Season Pack, pasta-enthusiasts alike can celebrate their love of pasta all Pasta Season long".
