There are no disputes when it comes to the burger's reign over summer.

The trifecta of patty, cheese and bun has ruled as a benevolent monarch over the country's summer taste buds for as long as we can remember.

Of course, there have been missteps, but for the most part, we owe the burger a great deal. So for the month of July, we'll be honoring its time-tested deliciousness, just in time for the height of grilling season.
