You Should Make Corn Fritters In An Air Fryer. Here’s Why
By MOLLY HARRIS
Corn fritters are a delicious and easy way to use up leftover corn and other vegetables, but they can be time-consuming to fry, not to mention some may want to cut back on the fat associated with deep-frying. Luckily, if you have an air fryer, you can enjoy the deliciousness of corn fritters without going through the mess of pan-frying.
Not only does making corn fritters in an air fryer reduce the amount of oil needed to cook them, but it also results in a crispy, golden-brown exterior with a perfectly cooked interior. Plus, air fryers are incredibly easy to use, require minimal clean-up compared to a pan full of oil, and cook the fritters quickly, usually within 14 minutes.
To make air fryer fritters, you just need the same ingredients used in traditional fritters, including corn, flour, eggs, milk, baking powder, salt, and pepper. You can also add extras like diced onions, jalapeños, or cheese, then mix all the ingredients in a bowl and spoon out the mixture into fritters in your air fryer basket before cooking.
