You Probably Already Own The Best Canned Baked Bean Brand

In Tasting Table's ranking of the 12 best canned baked beans, the top spot was taken by a staple in most American households: Bush's Original.
The company guards the exact formula but does admit to using slow-cooked navy beans, cured bacon, brown sugar, and a "special blend of spices," cooked and canned in America.
Our tests confirmed an abundance of that smoky bacon flavor, but it isn’t overwhelming. The can combines the sweetness of brown sugar with the acidic pop of mustard and vinegar.
As a result, Bush’s Original provides a balance of flavors in a sauce that's substantial but not thick or sticky. Plus, the soft and creamy beans further add to the can’s appeal.
