Out of 31 coffees reviewed and rated by Tasting Table, Nescafé instant coffee was ranked at 30, with tasters observing that the brand had a bland, uninspired flavor.
The spray-dried coffee granules also had a toasted grain flavor common in instant coffees and lacked acid balance. The brand doesn't seem to be keeping up with coffee trends.
According to the prices at Amazon, however, the average cost per cup is only about 6 cents, considering a 10.5-ounce jar produces 150 cups — so at least you won't break the bank.
