Why Leaving A Wooden Chopstick In Your Flour Will Save You Time
BY CATHERINE NYORANI
Save time while cooking or baking by keeping a wooden chopstick in your flour container to quickly stir and break clumps without damaging the container.
Wood is durable and non-reactive, so the chopstick won't alter the flour's quality or flavor. If your container is smaller, the chopstick can be cut to fit.
Use the chopstick to level the flour in a measuring cup. Gently glide the stick across the rim, sweeping away the excess flour for an accurate measurement.
Always be sure to wash your hands before reaching for the chopstick. This practice will prevent contamination, ensuring that the stick and the flour stay clean and safe for use.
