Costco's delicious pizza is made with Lamonica's Pizza Dough, a Brooklyn, NY-based manufacturer. Lamonica's website shows frozen dough balls are delivered to Costco stores daily.
The balls are thawed before being flattened into an 18-inch crust in a pizza press or by hand. The pizza press eliminates the need for extra flour, resulting in a fluffier pizza.
Lamonica's pizza dough is sent to over a hundred distributors across the U.S., spanning more than 30 states, catering primarily to businesses but also individual customers.
