What Is The '30-Second' Rule At Starbucks?

In an interview with ABC's "Good Morning America," Starbucks CEO Brian Niccol said that he wanted to accelerate customers' time at the counter to less than 30 seconds.
He suggested that customers would likely see an "orderly mobile order business with its own dedicated pickup area," allowing them to get their brew a lot quicker.
Niccol added, "My hope is we can get you a brewed cup of coffee in less than 30 seconds." Meanwhile, more complex espresso beverages will be ready in four minutes or less.
