What Happened To The Barrels Of Jack Daniel's Costco Used To Sell?

Available only in some stores, Costco used to sell barrels of Jack Daniels priced at $8,000 to $10,000. These barrels provided around 240 bottles worth of alcohol.
Costco didn't actually sell barrels full of whiskey; instead, Redditors noted the price was for 40 cases of 750-milliliter Jack Daniels bottles, accompanied by an empty barrel.
The barrels were stamped and authenticated, worth around $300. You can still buy Jack Daniels barrels, but they don't actually come with the barrel and aren't available at Costco.
The distiller now offers the Single Barrel Personal Collection Program, which allows you to choose your perfect whiskey before decanting it into a personal collection of bottles.
