What Flavor Is McDdonald's Shamrock Shake Actually?

McDonald's Shamrock Shake is one of the most coveted fast food seasonal releases. Still, most people don’t know what flavor it is, and its name doesn't describe the flavor, either.
Oddly, it tastes like mint, which isn't an Irish flavor. In fact, it's more like mint vanilla, as it's made from McDonald's Shamrock Shake Syrup and reduced-fat vanilla ice cream.
First launched in 1970, the Shamrock Shake is now as much a part of St. Patrick's Day in the U.S. as parades, green clothes, and the plethora of green food and drink recipes.
