What Exactly Is Dunkin's Coffee Milk?
BY CLAIRE REDDEN
Dunkin' Donuts announced its fall menu in late August 2024. While it features a few recurring fall favorites, there is also something new: the Dunkalatte.
This drink is Dunkin's first take on Rhode Island's official state drink: coffee milk, a classic concoction made from a mixture of sweet coffee syrup and milk.
Although coffee milk is traditionally made with Autocrat or Eclipse coffee syrup, Dunkin' stated that its Dunkalatte is made with whole milk and the chain's own coffee extract.
When combined with rich espresso, as the Dunkalatte is, the drink becomes something between an iced latte and a milkshake.
Some customers have been ordering Dunkin's Dunkalatte coffee milk as a substitute for the usual milk, giving them an extra sweet coffee flavor with a thick, milky feel.
