Dunkin's 2024 summer menu featured the Donut Swirl flavor that rocked our world, and to be ready for a hopeful return next year, we wanted to investigate what it truly tastes like.
Redditors and TikTok users have reported the Donut Swirl to taste like buttery vanilla, vanilla batter, or even gingerbread, possibly because some donuts have cinnamon and nutmeg.
Other Dunkin' fans just get general sweetness from the Donut Swirl, and a few people have picked up on an artificial sweetener aftertaste despite the drink not containing any.
The sweet base of the Donut Swirl truly shines when paired with specific unsweetened flavor shots. For example, adding the raspberry flavor shot creates a jelly donut effect.
