Our experience with the drink was underwhelming. It was slightly watery and the vanilla syrup didn't add much, which could have been salvaged by an extra helping of cold foam.
We found the hot version of the Pistachio Latte more appealing than the cold brew, but the pistachio sauce was mild and only offered a subtle pistachio flavor.
The latte used Starbucks' signature espresso roast, but the blonde espresso might have been a better choice to provide a better balance and complement the pistachio flavor.
Among the offerings, the Frappuccino is our pick. The creaminess of the pistachio sauce blends seamlessly with the drink's texture, creating a very enjoyable experience.
The crunchy brown butter topping was a highlight for us. It added a delightful textural contrast and nicely complemented the pistachio sauce, enhancing our enjoyment of the drink.
