In our ranking of eight brands of pistachio ice cream, Häagen-Dazs took the top spot. The ice cream was impeccably rich, creamy, and bursting with pistachio flavor.
Its intense pistachio nuttiness felt well-balanced with its sweetness and dairy richness. Its super creamy mouthfeel was punctuated by a nice crunch from bits of real pistachios.
Plus, the pistachio pieces riddled throughout the pint were roasted and salted, delivering more nutty depth and a salty complement to the sweetness of the ice cream.
