Use Your Cast Iron Skillet To Take Your Bruschetta To The Next Level
BY JULIA HOLLAND
By making bruschetta in a cast iron skillet, you can easily crisp up the outside while also providing a flavorful infusion to keep the bread moist and buttery.
In a cast iron skillet, saute fresh grape tomatoes and garlic in olive oil until the tomatoes turn crushed. Remove the tomatoes and garlic and add olive oil to toast the bread.
To create a flavorful foundation without cooking the tomatoes, infuse olive oil with aromatic flavors by frying garlic, onions, or shallots in it.
