TWRL's Canned Milk Tea Is Actually Vegan-Friendly

Made for vegans and non-vegans alike, TWRL Tea is a delicious milk tea made with organic, sustainable, and plant-based ingredients packed in a convenient, portable can.
TWRL launched in 2021, and its "twirl" name comes from the Chinese legend that tea was invented when a burst of wind sent tea leaves twirling into the cup of an Emperor.
The company was founded by friends Olivia Chen and Pauline Ang as a “version of the quintessential Asian milk tea that we grew up drinking and loving," according to Chen.
The tea is made from single-origin, fair-trade tea leaves; organic pea milk; and blue agave syrup. For some bubbly froth and a creamy texture, the drink is also nitro-infused.
TWRL comes in three flavors: chocolatey Taiwan-Style Black Milk Tea; light, floral Supreme Jasmine Pu'erh Milk Tea; and nutty, earthy Hojicha Roasted Green Milk Tea.
The canned tea can be served hot, cold, or as a slushy if frozen for about 45 minutes. You can also add your own boba pearls, including the brown sugar boba also sold by TWRL.
