Turn Bad Coffee Into A Better Cup With One
Store-Bought Ingredient
By CLARICE KNELLY
No one likes a below-average morning cup of coffee, even if you're just drinking it for the caffeine. Luckily, there is a quick fix for coffee that doesn't turn out the best.
Sometimes, only some extra sugar or fat can mask the flavor of bad coffee. If you're okay with this approach, turn your coffee into a makeshift mocha with instant hot cocoa mix.
Hot cocoa can cover up bitter flavors and elevate your coffee into a creamy, slightly chocolatey, more well-balanced cup. Just empty the powdered mix into your coffee mug and stir.
The hot cocoa covers up any off flavors better than sugar alone. This trick is even easy to do at hotels or a relative's home where the coffee typically isn't up to snuff.
